The History of Fairview Bible Church
On April 1, 1974, a group of believers met in Edinboro, PA and became a local church under the leadership of their Pastor-Teacher, Mike Bryant. In 1980 we purchased a church building in Fairview, PA. which served us well until the spring of 2002 when we broke ground for a new church facility within a half mile of our present location, on Rt. 98. With the move, Believer's Chapel was renamed Fairview Bible Church (FBC).
Fairview Bible Church is an independent Bible Church emphasizing grace and teaching Bible doctrine categorically (by subject). Presently, there are three weekly services. We provide a nursery, conduct a prep school (Sunday school) for preschoolers through 12th grade, sponsor a youth group, conduct Pioneer Clubs, vacation Bible school, three summer camps (kids, youth, adults) at the WLD ranch and other fun activities throughout the year. There are also opportunities to get involved in some of our other ministries which include prison ministry, home Bible classes, ladies prayer group, etc. We contribute to the partial support of several missions and missionaries. The dress code is modest, casual and comfortable.
